You heard about Mothers Fighting For Others a couple times throughout the BuzzRE event last Thursday. We’d like to share a little more about MFFO and ask for your help.

Helping orphaned girls become powerful women!

Our mission is simple: Mothers Fighting For Others helps orphan girls become powerful women! We do this by giving them a loving and nurturing environment and a quality education, so they can learn, thrive and achieve their highest potential.

The organizers of BuzzRE would like each of you to search your heart and determine how you can help out. MaryWe in America have it so easy compared to the rest of the world. We have shelter, food and education without too much effort. We have our coffee, pizza, drinks, movies, concerts, athletic events and tons of other things we spend on for ourselves. What if we took just a little of that and gave it willingly and happily to help a teenage girl get to go to high school? Think of the impact we could make in one of these orphans life.

Typical single day Real Estate Conferences run $49, $79, $99, $149 and even more. We charged a total of only $25 for BuzzRE. This was a non-profit event. All the speakers and volunteers were not paid. Any money left over is being donated to Mothers Fighting For Others. But we believe we can do better!

AnnWe are asking that you consider what you learned. Consider how much value you gained from this extremely inexpensive event and give directly to Mothers Fighting For Others. We believe everyone can give another $25 (if each person in attendance gave $25 we would collectively raise $5,000 for these girls). Some can give $100. Some of you can give $500. A few of you can give even more. Will you please do that? Imagine helping change the course of someones life with a simple gift to offer hope.

Buzzre Wrap Up

First, we would just like to say a big “thank you” to everyone that showed up for buzzre last week. Roughly 225 attendees, speakers and sponsors… You all rock! We hope you had a great time and walked away with some practical information that can help you in your business.

Over the next couple days we’ll be adding some items here on the blog that you may find useful as well. Contact info for the speakers, a list of everyone’s Twitter ID’s that participated, and more.

In the meantime, we would love to get your feedback on what you thought of the event. Good or bad, your feedback is very valuable to us so that we can continue to improve future events.

One of our goals with buzzre is for our attendees to walk away with a better understanding of how to market and brand yourself online, plus a deeper knowledge of the tools that can help you do so.  At the same time we hope buzzre will be unlike any other conference or seminar you’ve ever attended.

Introducing: The RMLS Live Lab

Thanks to RMLS, we will have a “live lab” with 6 laptops setup at the event so that you can stop by at any time throughout the day to start implementing what you’re learning, get questions answered, meet up with some of the speakers, or just check your email really quick. BuzzRE Registration Is Open!

Finally! It’s time to register and tell all your friends about this amazing event!

The full day BuzzRE takes place on Thursday June 3rd. It is an all day event that you won’t want to miss. There will be some of the brightest minds (Jeff Turner and Dustin Luther for starters) sharing all sorts of amazing internet marketing and social media tips with you. This event is open to the entire real estate industry. If you want to improve your understanding and use of this “new world” you want to be here.

Poker TournamentIn addition to the full day event on June 3rd we’ve also reserved the Ballroom at McMenamins Edgefield the evening of June 2nd for a night of fun and face to face social networking. Plus, if all goes as planned (*) there will also be a Charity Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament! That’s right, the first ever RE.net Charity Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. BuzzRE Seeking Sponsors

MoneyWe are just under a month away and it’s time to get some sponsors for this amazing event. We are anticipating several hundred attendees from all facets of the real estate industry. Realtors, appraisers, lenders, home stagers, title & escrow, inspectors, virtual assistants and anyone else wanting to learn cutting-edge internet marketing in real estate.

We have three different levels of sponsorship. They are as follows:

* Bronze ($250): Contributing sponsors receive a link from the sponsors page of our website, thanks from the organizers as part of the opening comments, one complimentary ticket to the event, and exposure to 200+ real estate professionals who can spread the word about your company.

* Silver ($500): In addition to the benefits of Bronze sponsorship, Silver sponsors may also have a company representative address the audience directly for 2-3 minutes during the conference, may provide flyers or other materials to be distributed at one point during the event, and receive a total of two complimentary tickets.
